Training - 6th Annual ICAC National Conference
October
15-18, 2007 - San Jose, California
San Jose McEnery Convention Center
6th Annual Internet Crimes Against
Children National Conference
in conjunction with the
4th Annual Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Conference
Each year, the ICAC National
Conference is designed to bring hundreds of federal, state and local law
enforcement investigators, forensic experts and prosecutors together to
participate in workshops and lectures to further their knowledge while
providing them with the tools necessary to combat the online exploitation of
children. Past conference evaluations support our belief that this event
provides an unrivaled opportunity to further the education of participants
while enhancing their skills to protect America's children.
The Internet Crimes Against
Children Task Force hosted their first ICAC National Conference in 2001. In
recent years, our national conference was held in conjunction with the
annual Crimes Against Children Conference in Dallas, TX. Due to the
steady increase in attendance each year, we have decided that participants
would be better served if the primary focus of the conference is centered
around the investigation and prosecution of Internet crimes against
children. This year, we will be conducting the ICAC National
Conference in conjunction with the Silicon Valley ICAC Conference in San
Jose, CA. Going forward, we plan to move our conference around the
country each year to allow the greatest opportunity to provide training to
those individuals responsible for investigating and prosecuting these
crimes. As our plans progress for our 2007 Conference they will be posted to
our web site so please visit this page regularly to learn about how you can
join us at our next conference.
